I hate FF

mine usually runs between 75mb-100mb

i downloaded opera. seems to use about 75mb too
Set Search Time - A google chrome extension. When you search only results from the past year (or set time period) are displayed. Helps tremendously when using new technologies to avoid outdated results.

FF 3 beta is out and it's apparently made great strides in terms of lowering memory usage.

Wow - been runing minefield for 2 days now (thanks to this thread) and it's LEAN!

Haven't seen it top 75mb yet, though I only have adblock plus installed. I'll hack in Firebug and a few other extensions and report back in a few days.

Hey Everah, a new version of Firefox was released to day. Maybe it has a fix for your problem.

I updated to 2.0.0.10 as soon as it was available. It seems to be a little better. I didn't have any crashes all day yesterday with some of my extensions enabled. I will see how things go today.

I may try running FF 2 and 3 side by side to check them out.
