I get to test *this* this weekend

This little thing is hot. It runs on 4GB of flash memory so it boots to desktop in 29 second. It comes with Linux installed and a wireless card and setup that actually works out of the box. It is light weight and very fast.
My only complaint so far is the keyboard is a little small and the keys are oriented differently than a normal laptop. Otherwise, this thing rocks.

I've never really liked laptops partly because I use my computer(s) for graphic intensive gaming, which you can't really do on a laptop. That is, anyone who buys a "gaming laptop" will have to buy a new one in a year or two, whereas you can pretty easily just buy a new video card for your desktop computer. That said, I would _love_ to have a laptop that I can use in class to take notes, or maybe surf the web during a boring lecture (I would NEVER do that).
Where can I get my hands on one of these? They look to be just the right price, and 8gb or even 4gb is more than enough for all my word processing needs.

We bought ours for $399 each. We left one with the Linux OS and hacked XP onto the other. There was massaging that had to be done, but they both work pretty well now. I like the Linux one better.
Our thought is that we can have these things used by our field/service techs and allow them to connect to a secure network to communicate with our corporate office. Right now things are done by either cell phone Voice Response Units or through fax. That is unusually slow given today's technology.

It certainly does look intriguing. But, for my purposes, I'd never use it.
