I feel the same way about my laptop though. I did buy a gamer edition and it has harman/kardon speakers with a built in subwoofer so I can do anything on it. Listen to music, play games, write code, watch movies, all the good stuff.
My pretty new Macbook Pro

Is the whole board converting to Mac? I'm waiting on the January updates to go select either a MacBook or Pro version - I was considering the smaller MacBook but it looks like I'll be doing less travel than expected, sufficiently less that a Pro would not be dragging my shoulders into the mud day after day...
Does anyone have an opinion on black vs white?
Start a new flamewar! Hehehe

As you may have seen in other posts, i have just taken delivery of a new MacBook in white. I compared the 2 colours, and i just couldn't resist the apple white. It just look more classy in my opinion.Maugrim_The_Reaper wrote:Is the whole board converting to Mac? I didn't really considered the MacBook Pro as it was more than i needed, but even though the MacBook is small, i haven't really noticed the small screen size of the MacBook, as the resolution is good enough to compensate.
I guess it depends on what you are going to be doing. if you need lots of power, the Pro is the way to go. If you need a brilliant little laptop for surfing, coding and all the day to day stuff people get up to, then you cant go wrong with the MacBook

Whoa - I just got finished making the same observation in another thread! I guess it's not just me...
The black and white MacBooks both have dirt issues (it shows, a lot). I never liked the MBP aesthetic either, metal coloured paint looks cheesy IMO, made worse when it starts to rub off in spots (ugh).
This new "gunmetal" finish that's coming in Jan sounds sexy, though I was initially hoping for the "real-aluminum edges + glass" look of the current iMacs.
I hope someone posts the forum's OS stats over the course of Jan so we can see what kind of an impact this has on us

My macbook had the "browning" issue (not dirt) but after replacement under warranty, it's white as new for 3 months now. I guess it helps that I wash my hands..
My macbook is great for on the go stuff. Browsing, word processing, coding (although I still feel the windows code editors are years beyond OS X compatible ones), etc. Definitely helps that it's on unix too.
