Sheesh...you'd think it was a Friday night or XMAS eve or something
Not a creature was stirring...not even a mouse...story of my life...why am I always alone?
I've often thought that if it wasn't for the rape and closterphobia...prison wouldn't be to bad of a place (free room and board)...being left alone...stuck in a small cramped office...with nothing but a library of books and a computer...not much would change for me...I eat mostly microwaved food and drink a ton of coke...
I bet they eat better in the klink.

LOL, you must be bored.
But yeah, if I were homeless with no hopes of reversing my fortunes, I might consider robbing something. You either get cash or goods, or get free shelter from the elements and food.
I say that only in speaking. In a real scenario like that, I would never break the law. =] I'd try to get a job. WILL PROGRAM FOR $$ cardboard signs and what not.

Thats the spirit.
Will program for food...thats awesome.
pp.s-I'm not bored, I'm never bored...I always find something to occupy my time with.

Admittedly I am kind of bummed because it's the holiday season and most people are mingling with friends and family and I'm here infront of a ocmputer...the life of a lonely geek. It's why I come here you know. Mingle with people who are almost my next of kin.

Programing forums are great. It's like a group of people talking, that are hundreds (or thousands) of miles.

I think there's some sort of internet backbone server down. I can't reliably get to any web site (except this one.. quite odd).
Probably not, but I'd like to blame it on something else besides my computer or lack of knowing how to properly work it. I expect the internet to just work. I haven't changed anything, so it should "just work".

Spooky...it's like that movie where the guy wakes up and he's the last person on earth.

Not me:
Step 1: steal underpants!
Step 2???
Step 3: PROFIT!!!
Seriously though, I would probably find a nice car to screw around with.

You lost me with the steal underpants part...
The first thing I would do...would be to visit the airport and and go inside all those airplanes...it's always been a dream of mine to fly a big jumbo jet...although realisitically speaking...I'd have better luck with a small cessna or similar.
Id drive around a lot...visit the coastal cities, see the ocean...
Walk around naked...visit the library...steal/borrow some books...which leads me to my next question...
If the worlds population vanished and you were the only one left...would it still be considered stealing or does everything become yours by virtue of the fact, your are the sole remaining person on the planet earth?

Contrary to popular belief, some developer have lives outside of their computers. Hence, when the weekend rolls around we roll out.

It's true - Everah trains an army of uncoordinated midgets when he's not at work. And locates my mochas.
I have a modicum of life as well, thanks to Facebook and Google calendar. And this one time, I found Everah's mocha! What a full day that was.

Wow, I thought this was the place to hang with my fellow no-lifers.

I guess I'll have to start playing WoW for that kind of camaraderie.
