What is the optimal temperature of your office?

What is the optimal temperature of your office?
My co-worker and I were having a dispute over what the optimal temperature is for a developers office. I prefer 70-72F. She likes it 74-75. So I thought I'd ask the DevNetwork crowd what they think is the optimal temperature is for a developers office?

My room in the winter, even at 18-25C is actually cold. During summer months, that is a perfect temperature...
I think 22-25C is an ideal temperature...

eh god... metric people.
Give me a good 72 on the thermostat. Unfortunately these quad-cores turn this place into a sauna

22c.
It seems we have a constant battle with the air-conditioning here in the SitePoint office and the weather seems to going through a regular cycle of warm, warm, hot, hot, hot, too hot, too hot, too hot, cool change, warm, warm......

About 19C
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.
Re: What is the optimal temperature of your office?
Depends on what kind of heat it is. In winter, using central heating, more then 20 degrees feels warm enough but very dry. But in summer, when the air itself is warmer, 20-25 degrees is fine.

21 degrees.
Which is 21,000 millidegrees, for those who want the conversion.
I knew that without having to look at a 500 page pocket reference! Metric FTW!!!!!!

Another vote for 21c - maybe 22c in the winter.
I find that it is also ideal driving temperature in my car.

45655450998.0098577343 E.
E is my own measurement standard that I have no intention of sharing. And 45655450998.0098577343 E. happens to be the perfect temperature for an office.

It appears to be a very, very, very precise standardEverah wrote:45655450998.0098577343 E

Re: What is the optimal temperature of your office?
actually, that depends entirely on the scale. While 10 decimal places looks precise, I happen to know that 1 degree E (Everah) = about 427,067,635 K (Kelvin, not Kieran)..... and it's logarithmic!
