http://www.thesixtyone.com/

Has anyone checked this site out yet?

It's pretty unique.
I like it mostly because it works flawlessly in Linux, and I can stream the song as many times as I want. I use it mostly while I am at work, its a cool place to discover new songs, and artists.

Its all run by Ajax, which its pretty cool in its self, but makes it different is every page refresh is ajax, so your music is not interrupted. Before anyone whines about the site not breaking down correctly (ie no javascript), its a streaming music website. You have to have javascript to listen to streaming music anyway.

Even better yet, it is run by Slicehost. Theres an article about it on slicehost's blog. I however came across it on diff.

Looks good. At first, I was a little doubtful about whether the music would actually be good, because it looks like all unsigned artists, but I found this song "Logic - Keep Grindin" and pressed play and it's actually really good.. hoping the rest of the tracks on the site are just as good!

Dude, there was an awesome video made in flash to this song. It was made a while ago. The closest I can get to it is:

I saw it without the "David Letterman" type opening though. Still funny as hell.
