I have a Mac, so no virus. It's probably the website itself that sends the IM.

Sorry about that - I had no idea.

On a side note, tell me this isn't the stupidest way to report a phishing site to Microsost?

I think they realized such a scenario will never happen

Yeah, that was severe bullsh*t. My IM client already tells me the subscription type, but I was curious why the person who sent it had done so (assumed it was a creative joke of some sort). I am <span style='color:blue' title='I'm naughty, are you naughty?'>smurf</span>, hear me roar.

Also, sorry 'bout that

Incidentally, Ubuntu here.

Jabber FTW!

Would this not mean that the IM accounts are compromised? If not, wouldn't this mean that MSN servers themselves are compromised? I'd be changing some passwords right about now.

There is a noted increase of FTW! usage on these forums. Most it imported from Canada...;). Do Canadians have a national FFW Day in January?

I think it's just ~Keiran's coping mechanism to help him get over all the nights he whore's himself out to JQuery ;)
