They are on display and occasionally for quick reference on a book shelf...and some books which are less interesting to me (Head First Design Patterns) are holding up one side of my bed.
Not to be offensive, but I think the term is "a couple" not "lots".
Fare enough. But relatively speaking, considering most people I know don't even read one "book" a year...2-3 a month at 500 pages is "lots".

Not to mention the 1000+ pages I read a month in articles - I spend a good portion everyday dedicated to reading...so yea...in my eyes I read a lot.
