I don't use it, and looking up I don't have one either, version 2.0.0.11.
Never use it. F6 then Enter is my choice.

How do you know this? Have you done extensive user testing to find out?

Yes. Design and users. However, the question is: what is good design? Sometimes looking at what users are used to do/expect is good, other times not. Cramming every possible button or feature in an interface is not the best idea, even if a button is used by some users. Removing buttons/stuff from an interface can sometimes improve the overall design, even if you loose some functionality, in some situations.

Kieran, part of good design is consistency. Just because the address has not changed does not mean the Go button is useless. As far as iTunes goes I frankly don't care. I had to deal with someone's iPod which does not allow you to copy your music back to your computer thus as a music player it has no redeeming features if critical functionality is not available. I still use old versions of software and keep installers for them (besides browsers of course) because newer does not always mean better.
Oh and let's not forget customer service, "Please click on the file menu"..."What file menu?"..."Press the ALT key sir."..."Why was it hidden if I needed it?" There is a difference between usable minimalism and unusable minimalism.

Honestly I can't say that I would miss the go button. In Linux firefox has actually become a thorn in my side because it's slow and crashes quite a bit. I have no problem hitting enter to submit an http request. There have been times where I use the refresh button and it asks if I want to resubmit a form, but in this case it doesn't bother my to click in the address bar and hit enter.
I have switched to Opera btw.
