I'm surprised that you have trouble with the Wells Fargo site. I use that site all the time with Firefox, on both Linux and Windows, and it works fine.
I have issues with their overall network setup. I had bank accounts with them in addition to a credit card and a loan. The bank account was accessible through one site while the credit card was another. The loan, still another.
I couldn't pay my credit card bill unless I was using IE or NN. I called and asked about this and their tech support guy said that Netscape Navigator's security algorithms were strong and more secure than FF and Opera. That is why they could not support it. They also said (but I could not confirm this) that Safari was supported either but that IE5 Mac was.
Wow, some people. You'd think that a site with that much traffic would take a few extra cross-browser steps. Aparently not.
I guess something to look forward to is not only that IE8 will render things much better, but also that sites from short-sighted Microsoft developers made for IE8 will render better in FF.
