Awesome, picked up a couple of ideas for something new to get now after seeing a couple of titles pop up there. Domain Driven Design and User Stories Applied sound interesting. I really like the Addison Wesley books in hardback... nice and robust.

Not sure if you want to hear from a newbie, but I'm currently reading (for the third time) Larry Ullman's Php for the World Wide Web 2nd Edition.

Any other good book suggestions for a beginner who is struggling with learning php would be greatly appreciated.

I have a bunch of other books on my shelf at work and at home. I refer to them mostly when I need something answered right away and don't want to bother the forums for an answer.

I've been lurking around (and still doing lots and lots of programming with "the others"...)

(and a gf that wants tons of attention, and going to the pool everyday to swim a kilometer or two, etc... getting in shape ;))

I have a Head First design pattern book in excellent condition -- anyone want to trade?

Domain Driven Design looks interesting -- I'd like to get my hands on that Fowler enterprise patterns book or GoF. Not really interested in reading up on xUnit or similar nature though...

Cheers :)
