There you simply click play... find a room, create a table, and have your opponent join you in that room/table.
Well the quite stupid thing is that if you are not logged in, it just throws you a blank page. That would be fine if that wasn't the page that shows up on all the search engines. Took me a while to figure that one out. Stupid Yahoo!

I like the concept of playing games with people online.

Then I played Battle.net on Warcraft II and I became dismayed.

Then I played Warcraft 3 and went online and I became dismayed.

Then I played World of Warcraft where half of everyone is 12 (or acts 12) and the only way to get to high end content is to join a guild where the leaders are so high on power they act like total jerks.

But chess? Well it's not Warcraft!

The only problem is I kind of suck at Chess so after my initial reaction I became dismayed.

Then I read that you guys think you suck so if it's an even and fair playing field count me in!

For those of you who have opted-in already... I will be posting the OFFICIAL match-ups tomorrow. Upon seeing who you are matched up with... simply post a time that you "think" you'll be available to play and see if you're opponent can meet you at that time. GMail, AIM, etc... help a lot. Most of us, however, are nerds that sit behind the computer 24/7 anyway so I doubt there will be that much trouble being online at the same time for a 10 minute game.

It ain't going on right now. You have to meet up with whoever your opponent will be at a specific time on Yahoo. You'd come on here and say something like... "I'm in Alligator Alley in Room 212". Or some derivation of that.

I will be announcing the matchups probably tonight.
