Ok Chris... if you're GMT +11 and you want to play at 9pm... that means it will be 2pm here on the east coast USA for me (we are GMT+4 right now due to DST). My math correct?

JAB... are you sure we are -5? I think it is currently -4 for DST? I'll look into this further.. let me know if you find out before me.

I don't know where Helo town is though I presume you've noticed I'm currently residing (stranded) in Florida. I'm pretty sure because if I ever do forget I check the time zone in Windows Date & Time / Time Zone tab.

If your Math is correct we're playing in 45 mins ;)

Hopefully my friend has been and gone by then since someone's coming round to see me briefly. I'll tell her I have more important things to do if she turns up mid-game :P

Sorry dude, I was in there but I had to leave to do some other stuff. Just trying to tie up a few loose ends before I go to bed (it's 10PM here now).

So if it's 7am your time at 10pm my time we're probably struggling to find a suitable time when I'm not in the office :P

7am my time will be 4pm your time. How does that sound? As in this coming 4pm.

Hey Chris... yea that's cool. I never play good chess anyway before eating a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. If you find the time... just make a quick post on here when ur ready.. I'll monitor it since I work from home. :)

Helo Town is a cool little place where everything is outgoing, swift with their greeting, and truly autheticated. I pronounce it "hello town", but tourists often pronounce it "ehlo town".

UPDATED LIST OF CHESS TOURNEY CONTESTANTS:
  • Jcart
    shiznatix
    Scrumpy.Gums
    Chris Corbyn
    AMCH
    JAB Creations
    Superdezigns
    EverLearning
    Ambush Commander
    seodevhead

Matchups and Play:
For the first round, you can match up with whomever is easiest to get together with in Yahoo! Chess at a specific time. Sof if shiznatix says he can be available at a specific time and someone else is available at that same time to play, then go ahead and play your matchup.

Where To Play:
You must be first logged into your Yahoo User Account... then go to:
http://games.yahoo.com/games/login2?page=ch&ss=1

There you will hit the "PLAY NOW" button. And on the list that has the "SOCIAL ROOMS", scroll down until you find "SOCIAL ROOM 8". This room is almost always fairly empty so being able to see each other here will be easy. SO USE SOCIAL ROOM 8!!!

WHO WINS?
One of you will need to create a table to play at... make sure to put a checkmark next to UNTIMED or NO TIMER. You can also invite your opponent to come sit at your table so you can play. Whoever wins 2 out of 3 games is the winner of the matchup. Come back here and post your results.

Feel free to belittle your losing opponent. This is what it's all about
