Dedicated host for bulk mailing?

I just signed up for an account on ServerBeach, I read their ToS but apparently I missed something cause I was just denied an account when asked what I planned to use the server for. :banghead:

I explained that I would comply with any CAN-SPAM policies, double opt-in, etc.

I will excersize complete control over my client list, that is, anonymous signup is not allowed, clients are strictly local businesses that wish to use email marketing. Lists are grown organically, but still, they claim to not allow this type of service.

I've always used ServerBeach so I'm not sure where else to go, any suggestions?

Cheers :)

Emma eh? Never heard of them.

Are you an existing customer Everah? If so, do they have a referal program? If I decide they are a good fit I'll give you a mention. :)

EDIT | Call me retarded but I can't find them on Google?

No, there is no referral stuff that I am aware of. Our company uses them. They are pretty good. Plus one of the early employees of the company was Marcus Whitney, a fairly large name in the PHP community.

Haha. Oh them.

You misunderstood what I was asking. :P

I've developed a similar service to them and wish to host my software on a dedicated server, problem is, many dedicated server providers don't allow mass emailing, even if it's not spam. At least ServerBeach doesn't.

Look at Slicehost. As an alternative (more expensive) look at Cari.net
