Seriously though, thats a tall order. I think it's the XM thats going to kill you.

I've got a Sandisk Sansa e250 MP3 player. It's small, has a MicroSD expansion slot, and is USB. Has a regular FM tuner, and will play movies (albeit, somewhat poorly).

You might have better luck with like a Zune or something? I'm thinking most satellite receivers wont include storage space.

Though, for an easy storage solution, the kingmax supersticks are awesome (if you dont lose them)

Thats a little to intense...

I was actually looking for something like a cell phone...which had USB support and a 2GB of memory and maybe a built XM satellite player so I didn't have to download MP3's but still supported playing MP3's incase I had a song I wanted to hear ASAP.

Unlocked iPhones work in Canada, and they're really easy to crack these days!

It really is the best phone you can get, hands down.

iPhone eh?

They offer data storage, XM satellite radio, etc?

I just want one device which I can listen to music on, radio and use a data backup for critical files on my PC. And of course a cell phone.

XM and cell phones seem to be the unlikely combo - but according to Google you could combine multiple devices in your VW Toureg ;-)

My iPhone has Last.fm on it, so as long as you either: a) pay for wireless data (expensive in Canada) or b) have available wi-fi you have a similar-ish service.

I don't think it has radio, but the iTouch certainly does everything else on your list.

Onion, run to the patent office, quick!

Seriously, Hockey, wtf? I have the same ipaq (for reading), an mp3 player I wear on a neck strap for music (would do storage as well, and I'm sure there are XM-able ones as well), and a phone. I wear the phone and ppc on my belt, it's not a problem with the right dual belt pouch (I admit, I had to mod mine though). Why would you want it in one device - yeah it will have one body, but will also have one battery (huge drawback for me) and will be like twice the price of all components together. Including the duct tape.

Here is my dilema. I carry my cell phone everywhere...and I think it plays MP3...but I already have an MP3 player which can also double as backup.

I don't always have my MP3 player, for example if I goto the bar I don't bring it, but there are times when I wish to share a song with a friend, in which case having my MP3 player would be handy. The biggest PITA is having to walk downstairs to get my keys which has my USB key on the keyring...whenever I want to backup. If I could backup on my cellphone (which is always on me) no more problems.

The Satellite Radio is only a want...I'm tired of downloading the latest music...I'd rather just flip through radio stations until I find something intersting. Having that functionality on my cell phone would be awesome and seeing as I have a WIFI setup at home, roaming charges would not apply...I don't think...unless I misunderstood something.
