I recommend you don't double-post on the same subject

I would recommend taking neither course. Those materials can be learned very easily on your own, and will most likely give you a better understand on how to use them since you will have more hands on experience with them. Although they will probably give your certifications which could help in getting hired for a job. I think there are much better ways to spend that kind of money though. My personal opinion. I will gladly point you in the direct of great tutorials/books you can look at instead though.

I live in North America where a comma separates thousandths...if your paying 13g's for a one month course I would strongly recommend saving your money and just learning by doing -- which is the best way anyways. :P

I started learning PHP when I was just a little guy... Probably grade 6 or 7. I think that's about age 12 or 13. Read a ton of online tutorials, bought a book that I never did read and asked a lot of questions here.

I now do freelance work while going through school. I charge on average $25.00 per hour with no "certificate" or anything like that. I've done work for police agencies, ISP's, etc. And for 13 grand I would fly down to where you live and work 9-5 every day for a month teaching you PHP/MySQL hands on...
