Making a window open maximized when opening associated file?

Post by JAB Creations »

A common problem I have yet to resolve is that I open files not applications...so the associated applications open when I open the file (kills off the step of opening the file manually from within the application). However a few programs don't automatically maximize though they are when I close them. Any one know of a registry tweak or something else?

For what program? Each different application is likely to store its settings in the registry in a different way.

Just programs on XP in general. Firefox, Photoshop, etc.

I use XP and when I close Firefox or Photoshop after being maximized, the window remembers it's size.
