Engineering Sites

Post by Johnm »

Hi all,
Is there anyone in the group that develops a(n) engineering type web site? On-line configuration of equipment, interaction with ProE (PTC's Pro Engineering suite) or anything of the sort?

The reason I ask is I am looking for someone to bounce ideas and what-not off of. With an engineering site, you loose a lot of the fancy stuff to accommodate the necessary stuff. Having a "Pretty" site is severely over-shadowed by having a functional site that works, works well, works efficiently, is fast, and works on any browser with a boat load of data validation. Granted, this would be ideal for any web-site but as we all know, that is easier said than done.

Thanks,
Direwolf
