Backoffice

Post by Stela »

Hello...

I know a little of PHP and I needed to create a backoffice for a site.

Is there a book or a site with tutorials to explain this process?

Thanks :!:

Backoffice?
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.

Yeah... he means like an admin panel. Somehow, there are people who call it that way.

That's it, a admin panel for anyone with a password can make changes (modify text, insert pics, etc).

So, where should I start learning to do it :?:

If you read phpMyAdmin's website you'll know it's just for managing a MySQL database. If you want to modify a whole site, what you're looking for is a Content Management System, usually referred to as a CMS.

I 2nd the opinion that you are looking for a content management system.

I personally am partial to the Modx CMS. It's super easy to learn and it's php oriented.
