I'm just saying its his opinion, just because someone has credentials doesn't mean their opinion becomes fact. I'm just facetiously disagreeing with him lol.. If you feel like you can get your job done faster and just as good without the framework, then that reason alone is enough to not use one. If you think it will make your life easier that is enough reason TO use it, you're going to have to balance hardware costs with development time somewhere.. neither extreme is productive

How do you measure your success, execution time, delivery time? *financial freedom* ( having work less and less hours each month )? I use the last benchmark
I'd wager a fair sum that Rasmus is pretty well paid. He probably has enough Yahoo stock options to retire by now.

And I should imagine he gets paid a fair amount+expenses for conferences all around the world..I'm jealous.

From there Mordred went up to PHP.net. As he was walking along the road, some youths came out of the forum and jeered at him. "Go on up, you crazy security fool!" they said. "Escaping data is for losers!" He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of PHP. Then, two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of them. -II PHP 2:23-24
