My Site! (Hope you guys take the time to read this... )

Post by Jim »

Hey folks!

I've been around here for about a year now, not always posting, but always listening. I've learned a good deal about PHP, and have absolutely fallen in love with programming.

Because of this deep affection with the art of programming, I've created my own little site dedicated to PHP and it's community.

It can be found at http://scripting.empiregaming.net.

I sincerely hope you guys join up and add your code or articles... or just your presence on the forums.

I don't imagine I'll ever be large enough to "compete" with this site... but competition isn't what I'm doing this for. I'd just really like to see the efforts I've taken with this site kick off.

Well, hope you guys don't brush this off as another "spam attack." I just really wanted to share something I am very proud of and had the immense joy of creating :)

Thanks for all the help and support I've received here!

Sincerely,

-Jim

Nice site, and it's good to see that you at least have some of your own content up there. All too often, people create a quick HTML design, and expect people to just send them stuff willy nilly. I'll even forgive the fact that it's a table-based design as opposed to a CSS one. :D

Much thanks, Jason :)

I'm actually very interested in using CSS to design. If you remember MyDimension, a former regular of these forums, you'll surely know that he heralded the merits of CSS to table-based design constantly.

I don't know where to look that stuff up, though. :P

Also, this site is a way for me to learn as much as it is to help others learn. Frankly, I'm no expert at PHP, so I need all the help I can get :) Hence the addition of my own content :D
