SearchWiki lets you customize your Google Web Search results by ranking, removing, and adding notes to them. You'll see your changes whenever you do the same searches while signed in to your Google Account, or until you decide to undo them. You can also see how other users have tailored any given search results page with their own notes and changes.

It's an interesting combination of concepts and it's very web 2.0 in the sense that I'm sure they have some of their top brains writing algorithms around this. You can write an algorithm that returns good results today, but if you want to automate changes it needs to handle changing social norms, language constructs, etc... It looks like they're going to make it more and more user driven. Rumors have it this is how their spellchecker works ( based off past user history ). It's of course useful for personal notes too and really makes you wonder what other ideas they have around this, or if its just experimental. Very cool concept nonetheless
