Setting up Proxy Server on CentOS

Post by panic! »

I have a dedicated CentOS server with root access in the USA and I'm wondering if it would be possible to set up a proxy server on there so I can browse US only content like The Daily Show and Hula etc.

Any ideas?

I have a CentOS server, but living in the US I don't need a webproxy for what you're trying to do. Although, I think SQUID is what you're looking for - you should be able to download and install it via SSH/root.

A quick Google search came up with this page.
