Shocked or it's choking or sat on a thumb tack...Look at that smilie right there. He's not happy. And he's not sad. What is he?
Crazy? I thought it was casual. This thread is getting a bit crazy, but that's okay, right?
Walmart...Shoppers Drug Mart...the local mall...same diff. One year I did all my Christmas shopping in a drugstore one-and-a-half-days before Christmas
Meh...the way I see it...I have to pretend to be excited and happy about gifts that are otherwise useless to me. I've told everyone a million times, if you don't know what to buy, get me books, especially computer books and I'd genuinely be happy. Instead I get USB thumb drives (which I already have a dozen of) or weird hardware which I never use, like a Graphire pen pad w/ mouse...I can't draw on standard paper what makes people think I'd be able to draw using an virtual pen any better???was not very happy about that. You're standing there, looking at pre-packaged box sets of junk thinking, "Is this good enough? Will this work?" Hehe, ugh, I hate doing that!
I am not a fan of popular culture, so buying me magazines, music, etc is not a good idea. I dress casual not fancy, so nice shirts, etc...meh I'd rarely use them. Oddly my sister bought me a brilliant gift. In the summer I was visiting her and complained about how my mother never bought me a rubber duck, like Ernie from sesame street.
A simple $3 toy you can buy at any drug store and I never got one. Imagine my surprise when at nearly 30 years of age, my sister buys me, not just a rubber duk, but a massive rubber duck. Like King Kong rubber duck.
Whats with people who give you money? What is that? I have a job, don't give me money, go buy a texas mickey or something and give me that. Make a donation to animal rescue shelter and show me the recipet, anything but money...makes everythig feel so fake.
Ha...I've thought about that...although 6000 is pretty far...my family is scattered all across Canada so I wouldn't really be able to escape the giftmas season. My solution to all this was to move 6000 kilometres away from my entire family. Now, I don't have to buy presents for anyone because we all decided that I'm too far away. It's awesome. We just send cards. I can handle cards.
Maybe I should move somewhere in the South Pacific...somewhere warm...so I don't even think about cold and Christmas...work from my laptop on a beach...drinking martini's like James Bond...
Does anyone know if they have high speed Internet on remote islands anywhere?
