My goodness, this crud that has gotten a hold of me, while I'm trying to meet a deadline on a PHP project, is killing me. In the past few days I was feeling almost near suicidal over this sinus crud. Been there? It seems like nothing kills it. Not Cipro. Not sleep (have only had 4 hours sleep in the past 2.5 days). Not wine or brandy. Can't. Get. Sleep. Can't swallow either.

I hope none of you get it. This one is pretty darn bad. Get your flu shots, wrap up even when you don't think you need it, keep those sinuses dry, take your zicam, use mouthwash regularly, spray stuff down with Lysol, watch where you go or who's hand you shake, and dose up on vitamins. Because when this thing hits, hide your guns -- you'll wish for death.

And, of all the darn times in the year, I do not need this right now. My deadline is very tight.

Back to bed now...hopefully I can sleep...

Touche (accent aigu).

My brother flew in from Calgary the other day from -40C.

Madness! Global warming? Pfft.

Calgary can be cold...but Manitoba...man we get the best and worst of it...with Ontario and Quebec constantly blowing...and Saskatchewan and Alberta always sucking. :P

Thats a Winnipeg joke: Why is Winnipeg so windy? Saskatchewan sucks, Ontario blows. :P

My dad works for Air Canada, apparently he was saying flights were really delayed due to a storm in T.O -- being a busy airport and all. :)

As for global warming...it's certainly not a hoax...I wish everyone took it a little more serious -- myself included.

Cheers,
Alex

About 2 years ago I decided that I wouldn't get colds any more. And I haven't.

Mind over matter.
