[rant]Frontpage. I'm here, sat in my office thing, and I'm being forced to code my site in php via frontpage. It keeps messing with EVERYTHING. I can't stand it![/rant]

Can't you just use another editor, with front page open, and just use the other editor? I can't imagine any business forcing someone to use a tool without actually knowing a tool. I would actually tell them what I would use, and refuse to use FrontPage.

Frontpage supports definining other editors, just define all .php files etc for gVim or some other editor (as Jason said).. or notepad in the wors case scenario if they don't let you install stuff..

Hehe, yeah, and then you would still be technically using FrontPage, hehe

Damm i still can't sleep :)

I work with homesite, directly online. And dualscreen is a must.

Output & phpMyAdmin on the one screen, and homesite on the other.

Damm, i love my workspace.

Now I am feeling ashemed of my little set up, four year old monitor, a crappy HP 733 with a cd burner that doesn't work and a big fancy hp printer that doesn't talk nicely to my machine.

groan, whine, snivel, you sure know how to hurt a guy.

A guess a can't complian to much as the start up that I am part owner of owes nobody any money so all profit is pure pocket money.

yeah.. :P

The company I work for wants me to do all kinds of fun and interesting things for them, but won't supply the tools I need to do them without a fight. Cripes, I had to ask for Homesite 3X before just using my own laptop to do it.

But, at least they don't insist upon FrontPage! **shudders**

You know... you've already got another great editor installed. It's called "Notepad". aka. The only stable product Microsoft has ever made. 8)

Yeah, when I used to work in the office I had to use Notepad as the boss was stingy. I was writing a rather large page one day and I kept getting a memory error every time I pressed a key. I couldn't figure out for a couple of hours. Notepad can't open a file that is greater than 30k apparently...

Okay... I take it back. Apparently Microsoft has *never* produced a stable product then. ;)
