Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I don't really care anyway -
I need a brilliant developer to help me develop a simple site that will be a big hit. It should be like google, but with social community features and outlook integration. I already have all the designs, so you just have to implement, very simple.

I can't pay you as I have no money (that I want to spend on you), but instead I offer my eternal gratitude and a special badge on my site. Please, only serious offers, spare me your sarcastic remarks. email me your CV to totalwanker@gmail.com

Don't miss out this amazing opportunity!!
and was the website a big hit? Did you and the developer get stinking rich? :D

PCSpectra wrote:Funny because more and more every day I look at the PHP coding forums I see questions like this.
Some ideas that always go through my mind:

1. I suppose it's easy for some Ruby guys to go, "Let's keep some PHP guys way too busy and ask them some questions when we don't even care about the answers." And off they go into the forums here to ask senseless questions that look legitimate. Okay, I'm picking on Ruby. My bad.

2. What if it's a college teen and we're doing his Comp Sci homework or lab project for him? You know there's going to be a good bit of that. I mean, I don't mind helping slightly to get the guy on the right track, but I mean *slightly*. But if the guy is going to use like 5 IDs and ask all his questions from his homework here, that's uncool.

I'll send you a check that should get there by Monday though I need you to have the project finished by Sunday and all the source code sent to the following public mailing list email address. Also I spoke with your boss and he said it was ok to pay you $400 instead of the agreed minimum of $2600. Oh yeah and we'd like you to work in house though please don't mind the shedding very hairy homeless guy we're sheltering though you may want to bring paper towels to clean his hair off the walls in the shower. PS I think I ran over your dog, because of religious beliefs we do not allow caffeinated beverages of any kind in our home, and the cats regularly pee on the couch we're going to have you sleep on.

The job is on site at Virginia Tech. Would help if you could work with us physically on site. It's a friendly little campus.
