Well I didn't start using SuperEdi for syntax highlighting but as I've used it for I think the past two or three years I've really gotten used to it, except when it breaks. Unfortunately it breaks often enough to irritate the heck out of me. After finally finding the author's email (with insanely over aggressive anti-spam tools implemented in to the contact form) the he emailed me essentially saying he wasn't interested in fixing the couple of bugs I mentioned.
The tab feature and syntax highlighting in JavaScript and PHP are what are most important, and the fact that it doesn't take even a hundredth of the time to open as say, [insert random Adobe product here].
I'm not interested in a premium editor, just one that will be able to highlight XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL mixed together (though I hardly ever have more then two languages mixed though many combinations of) without the editor breaking the syntax highlighting.
Also SuperEdi's CTRL+D option (FTP) annoys me because I sometimes hit that instead of CTRL+S and if anything is filled it then the program freezes and it +20 to my aggro.
While not insanely import it would be nice to have restore tabs on startup and crash like Firefox does.
Suggestions please?
