Does anyone know where there are some results of PHP programmer salary surveys?

hmmm not sure but I look all the time for job openings and they range from $40K - $70K per year, USD

Well, the reason I ask - Visual Studio magazine recently published the results of a salary survey amongst that programming group - just wondering if a similar survey had been conducted amongst PHP programmers..Interesting survey in that C# programmers topped
out at $85,500 or thereabouts, well above all others.

I look at what I make - and think "would you like that in paper or plastic?"

Damn, here in Oz it ranges from 35k - 70k and possibly more...

That's AUD, I'm moving dammit! The worst thing is, everybody uses microsoft rubbish here, so you can't find any open source jobs.. although lately its getting better.

Honestly, I consider myself lucky to be working at all, no matter what the salary (relatively speaking). But, it seems to me that it mostly depends on the size of the company you work for. I was getting paid on the higher-end of the scale at a large Telecom a couple of years ago, but now I'm getting just about half of what I was getting before. That's the way it goes, though, in this economy.
