What annoys you the most when you research?
Don't get me wrong...I love to research but no matter how good I get at searching for things (and using quotes and removing terms and so forth from search engine results) the one thing that annoys me the most are unresolved issues and overly detailed explanations about insane problems but then without any explanation of how to actually implement the solution thus negating the whole point of the article! I find a lot of "oh I got it to work thx k bye" but only an exceptionally few people actually bother to post what worked, what they tried, and for goodness sakes why post any code? It's not like any one else will ever have that problem ever on and entire internet! That's why I try to post working examples when I get help here because I know I ask questions a bit differently then most...so maybe instead of getting an answer that only helps me (the equivalent of some one getting an answer on a closed/private media like an IM or IRC) I try to make sure if someone reads the archived thread that they find the answer too...otherwise I'm just hogging up space and time...and then the universe explodes because there isn't anything fresh to read in the tech news sections.
I needed to rant...sorry.
Any way what annoys everyone else when you're building something that you need to learn something new in order to get it working?
