Peacekeeper: Futuremark Browser Benchmark

Post by JAB Creations »

I just finished some initial browser benchmarks using Peacekeeper.

My system is an AM3 720BE 2.8GHz set to 2436, 812, 812MHz (per core), with 4GB (3.4GB available to applications) and here are my results...

Opera 10 Alpha1 Build 1345: 773
Safari 3.2.1: 650
Chrome: 599
Firefox 3.0.7: 395
Internet Explorer 8 RC1: 263

However I feel this benchmark is a clearly subjective. You can benchmark these browsers using my website's theme editor. To do so select 'Advanced Options' and then check 'Enable Mouseover Event'. At that point simply move your mouse over the color pallet.

From fastest to slowest: Firefox 3.0.7, Opera 10 Alpha 1, Chrome 1.0.1, Opera 9.6, then finally IE8 RC1.

The benefits of information are subjective to how each person applies it in application.

You've obviously modified your browser to a considerable extent, I presume you mean Peace Keeper isn't working? It worked even though I have Java disabled.

My bad it just says 'System scan is not supported on your system.' but I can still do the test. My computer is smurf.
