That site has alot of stuff that really made me change the way I think about Anarchy. It kinda clarifies it's original objective as a system of government, so check it out

I'm just into reading the type of stuff on that website, and I love reading about true anarchy (Visit http://flag.blackened.net for that).

Been doing PHP things for about 3 and a half years, did a year of ASP prior to that, and a year of Perl before that. Been coding since I was a kid. I have a tendancy to start projects, get half way through, and then think of something cooler to do instead so I move on. Currently I'm working on a "Photoshop" clone..

I am Cory, although better known as HexKrak since I found Hexworkshop back in school.
I started my coding journey with GWBasic on an apple IIe. Shortly after I found html, and started doing web code. Then back to console apps with visual basic for a while until I happened across a client who wished for a credit card auth service, so I learned asp, because of its similarities to vb.
A couple days ago I decided to write a few e-store templates because I have virtually no portfolio or any solid scripts to call my own in the web programing world. So what did I do? Install a Linux partition, and start coding in php utilizing an apache server.
Its been some great fun, and everything was coming together smoothly until I managed to hit a brick wall, but I'm sure it'll be solved one way or another soon, and I can continue to use this fun language.
I hope to continue on to doing web development professionally, because although I enjoy being a chef, my first love was computers. So here I am trolling the forums for answers, and making contacts with the brains of the www.

Hello People!
I am Rob Secord (virtually-known elsewhere as xeroblood or Achilles) and have been programming for about 6 years now.. Started with HTML, then C/C++ in college and grew from there..
I have my B.Sc. in CS and I am currently doing freelance web development; both Graphic Design and Programming.
I have been using PHP for almost a year now and have never looked back at ASP or JSP, although I have been learning ASP.Net recently..
I mostly joined this community to help with PHP, but also to pick the brains of the Gurus here (mainly for security related issues)..
I am curently developing a large CMS-like engine (although it has its differences from a CMS) in PHP with MySQL and have been focusing recently on the development of a built-in Intrusion Detection System and other Security related methods. I plan to release the engine as Open-Source under GPL as soon as it is completed to my satisfaction.
The development site can be viewed by following the link in my signature..
Anyway, I love to teach and help out whenever I can, but the redundant mundane questions can sometimes annoy me so I tend to answer the more challenging questions if I can.
