Egh, I never saw this..
Well, I'm Daedalus.
I've been a computer enthusiast for many years, and now am a computer professional. I work as an IT/Web-everything/Web Server Admin/Database Admin/Many other asinine things.
My interests have been vastly different over the years and every now and then I quit everything and waste a few months on video games.
In the past year or so I have finally acted on my urge to develop something. I worked with ASP/VBscript for about four months and then moved on to PHP 5 which I have been using for a little over five months.
I never graduated any form of school; public or private. I am not anything special but am working as hard as I can to learn as much as I can. I've recently picked up on C/C++/C# and am in the process of deciding which language(s) I would like to develop with and am leaning towards C and C++. I also have an interest in picking up some PERL for when I get my UNIX box.
I like to design and work with xhtml and CSS regularly.
I'm also interested in martial arts, zen buddhism, swords, and guns.
Other than that I am boring and just got out of a three year relationship, to my dismay.
I live in the Greater Seattle are if you are up for drinks

Hi Folks,
my name is Christian.
I'm from Germany, but living and working in Scotland.
I have just started with PHP, but I was always able to get everything done so far with PHP just
by using Google and stuff.
Now I would like to do it on my own
The Projects I'm working on are a CMS and a Webportal for the Xbox 360 Gamercards.
Well, I hope I can finish them someday

Yo... I'm from Arkansas and am developing an Arkansas Razorback basketball statistics database, similar to Kentucky's bigbluehistory.net, and I believe Kansas and St. John's have online stats archives as well. I've been working on it for 14 months for maybe an hour a day and have barely scratched the surface.

Hello, I'm from Denmark, and am currently working part-time using PHP / MySQL as my tools. I like to take photographs when time allows me, hence the nickname photonatic, a combination of the word 'photo' and 'fanatic'. I hope to have wonderful times with you guys (:

hello, im from sweden and im 18 years old.
id consider myself a pretty low level php-coder since ive only worked on small personal projects.
i got into unix-like operating systems about three years ago and im now using it pretty much exclusively, except
for the times that the gamer in me takes over
i just graduated from the swedish equivalency (i think) of high school and im planning on getting a job for a year or so before continuing with my studies.
in my spare time i like to watch movies and occasionally play a little golf.

Oh I'd like to introduce myself too!
Well, I'm Jorn, 15 years old and living in the Netherlands.
I once wanted to learn how to write my own website, so I started learning some html. Fairly easy ofcourse. I wrote some little things but wanted more. My uncle (a Java programmer) gave me a book on PHP & MySQL for my birthday two years ago, which I read from the first page to the last, really interesting. After reading the book I started coding myself, and got some assignments that were pretty cool. I'm beginning to code more and more efficiently, so there really is progress. I joined this forum to learn more about php.
Besides PHP, I learned the basics of C, and some socket programming in C a year ago. The socket programming really was a pain in the ass. I've never written something useful in C, because I don't really like terminals; I wanted to code some gui's. Since gui's in C/C++ seemed a little too hard for me at the moment, I wanted to try something else, so I asked around for good languages to start with. This way I started programming in C# .NET, which I really like. Gui's never were this easy. And, with my C knowledge I could just start programming (with some good help ofcourse to teach me the structures of OO-programming).
I think this is mostly the programming I've done until now; hope you like it

You'll be seeing me some more on this forum I guess!
