Hey I'm Matthew and I'm new into PHP/MySQL I'm 19 at the time of this post and I'm looking at becoming one of the biggest Internet entrepreneurs. It's really my dream to become someone who makes it huge via the internet.
Wish me luck hey, I still have a long long way to go but it's the journey that counts in my eyes the destination is just the prize no matter where I end up :]

Hello!

My names Ryan, I am a intermediate maybe even slightly novice still, web developer.
I am 90% self taught. (Took a few courses which re-iterated most of my self taught knowledge)
I however have a very hard time with any dynamic languages, php for example.
I'm pretty decent I think with html/xhtml and css. *not pro but decent*
In the past few months I have really tried hard to get back into web-design, I took a long break for a while because of school and whatnot, but I always seem to come back to web-design in the end, funny eh?
I have been working on my friends business model sites for practice and to get some portfolio work.
http://www.mountainlifeadventures.com
http://www.snapproofing.com
let me know what you think, pm preferably
I hope to learn better html/xhtml and css practices and layout designs, I know I've made some boo boo's on the above sites and any tips on how you would do things to make it easier to edit etc.. would be appreciated
with that being said, I've coded 90-95% of those two sites myself, the menu on mountainlifeadventures I had pieced together/altered from other examples I had seen. and also the php script for the form I had read around and somewhat came up with my own script from hacking away at other scripts and piecing them together. I believe that is the only two things I have really 'copied' if that's even really copying.
I really strive for greatness and professionalism, I don't like to copy or hack away at others scripts but sometimes just to get things working it is required

I would really like to remodel/make a new the php script and thats mostly why I have joined this site. I will post a thread after this about it.
I am from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
20 years old and eager to learn!
this site looks great and I hope to take full advantage of any help and support this site has to offer!
Ryan.
