Re: Introduce Yourself!
Hey hey!
I'm Rob. I've been phping for a fair few years, recently gone into freelance web dev so now I'm actually using my skills to eat, rather than just playing when I can find the time
Also have a background in tech support and server maintenance, though that's not half as much fun
.
I quite frequently Google for code support and almost always find help in a one forum or other, so I thought it was about time I started to share what I've learned! And it's always good to be able to ask for support among friends
Dev platform of choice is OS X, I don't think I could live without Coda.. Though before I discovered the easy way I was quite happy coding for hours in VIM on Linux
. Still using CentOS for web serving though!

Re: Introduce Yourself!
So I just joined (an hour ago) and thought I would say hi. I've been using PHP for 3 years now (WordPress) and decided to expand to other options. So I'm trying to build up my PHP skills and needed a dedicated forum to do so since DigitalPoint doesn't carry all the resources I need.
BTW: I live in Florida USA.

Hi,
I am Richer Martyn,
I like the forums. I like reading them and solve the problems of people.
I Like music. Whatever, If it is singing or dancing or listening.I like mostly sad songs. Why because in sad songs you will always get motivational lines in every song. They also gives freshness to mind because of soft music. That's why I like these type of songs.
I also like rocking songs, but only in dance parties and in journey.

I don't have time to visit here often - I doubt too many of the old-timers (2002-2003 era) are still here? this thread is that old though, heh, and wow (7 years) it has survived better than any of the bump me threads, must be because Mac started it

Hi Gang!
My name is Kevin and I'm a LONG TIME lurker, first time poster. I plan on contributing here quite a bit and look forward to the fellowship. I'd consider myself a relatively good PHP'er, but not great. However, I'll try to answer as many questions as I can to those I can help.
Thanks for the opportunity!

Re: Introduce Yourself!
Hello everybody,
I'm a telecom programmer (C / UNIX) getting back after 10 years as unix sys admin and the explosion of APIs and languages has left me at a loss as to where to begin to get my head around this.
I think I've got a plan to get back up to speed now though. I hope.
