Hi all,
I'm Percy my story started since I started high school, I decided to study in the IT field specifically programming and developing systems/apps. So as soon as I finished I went ahead and studied a BS in systems engineering and then an associate in interactive media (for the web).
I had a lot of fun while studying in college and the fun never ends while working on new projects.
At the beginning I was leaning towards C/C++ as I studied many books and developed small projects, but after not very long I knew the web was the way to be. This is when I found Perl. I quickly studied many books on the subjects and practiced doing small scripts, but never got to develop any formal project on in.
After that, you guessed it, I found PHP and quickly admired the power and simplicity of it. I'm constantly updating myself on all the latest web trends using LAMP and highly recommend this to everyone that makes a living working with PHP.
It's been a great experience to work with PHP (5 years now) and look forward to know other people working with it and share valuable knowledge and experience on this great forum.
Thank you to all the moderators and members for making this forum possible.

Hi Guys,
I am Ronald, a freelance PHP Programmer.
I usually look for PHP freelance work on various sites. Recently I saw
http://ajeva.com/ a start up company with good people, who seriously consider their providers and work closely with them and understand the difficulties faced by freelancers.
Regards
Ronald

Good afternoon everyone!
I'm Alexander, but most people call me zander. I'm a self-taught PHP programmer with skills including, but not limited to, MySQL, (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript Frameworks, XML, HTTP Headers and Status Codes, etc.
I'm a developer for JD Edwards financial software, but plan on moving onto internet applications development in a couple of years time... Maybe New York?
I've always wanted to learn a foreign language, mainly because I've always been jealous of my sister being almost fluent in Spanish, being fluent in PHP just doesn't cut it!
I'm interested in joining a couple of small open-source PHP projects, just for the weekends.
That's all I can think of at the moment, hope to speak to you soon.
Alexander.

Hi..
I signed up on this forum along time ago, but can not remember if I already introduced myself? I know a little bit of PHP but would like to extend my knowledge. As a part time sole trader (self-employed), I run a very small web design business, only 2 clients but enjoying every moment of learning, and also trying to improve/increase my business services. My long-term goals is change from a Sole trader to a company, hopefully in a year or 2. E-commerce is hot on the list for me and found the perfect, or so call open source application (Magento) to use. I have some time now to further my understanding in PHP and hopefully one day to build my own web application with full control.
I look forward to learning and mingling with you guys.

Hello,
I've been contributing to the PHP Code section mostly since my arrival. Just google'd for a PHP forum and this seemed like the most lively and friendly one so here I am.
I've been doing web development for 10 years now. Not really here for anything other than casual conversation and helping others with their programming issues.

He there all...
Just like to introduce myself. Im from the UK and am an IT analyst. Want to get into webdesign but not too good at it. I have had a few designers create a few pages for me but have had no luck at all...some being caught in an eathquake, other companies folding and some uncontactable. Im on here to get some help to sort out these unfinished sites.
Hope you can help

Hey everyone
I just moved my blog from blogspot to a real host, and I'm gradually learning the awesome power of PHP together with SQL.
Really happy that PHP has C-like syntax, makes things a LOT easier for me
