free article directory script, thanks for reviewing it.

Post by picipoki9 »

Hi guys, this is a page that i created for our new free article directory script: it's complete CMS/Article Script created by our website http://www.excellentguide.com, the purpose was to make a light and customizable sctipt. it can be used as a Seo friendly script with content websites, or as an article directory where authors can publish their own articles, i would like honest reviews of the page and also the script, it's still beta and we will keep improving it and working on it in the future, here is the script's page: http://www.excellentguide.com/articlescript.html
thanks.

there's something wrong with your site. it's awfully slow.
cosmetics wise i think it needs major works.
functionaity wise i like it, it's easy to use.
the backend is a bit rough.
overall, i would say nice peice of work with very good prospects.

Didn't seem a bit slow to me, not balzing fast perhaps, but everything loaded fairly quickly.

I didn't think the cosmetics were bad at all. I guess if you are into Flash and lots of bells and whistles the site is sort of "vanilla" but it has nice colors and looks quite clean and attractive to me.

Only thing "off" that I noticed is that the menu is missing from the "bookmarks" page. It is fairly common to have the logo be a link to the home page, and that might be a nice touch.

I also noticed that when you hit this page: http://www.excellentguide.com/social/, you lose all the primary navigation, leaving you a little stuck.

[edit - Thats the bookmark page Bill was referring to!, didn't realize ;) ]
