My brother has been a computer systems person for 20 years or so. I guess he's okay at what he does; he makes a living, although he's always on the verge of bankruptcy. I'm not going to give you a link to his website. It's just too embarrassing. It not only has flashing text, it has flaming text. Yes, those letters that are moving flames. He's 60 years old or so. I try to pretend I don't know who he is.

I takes me back to my first webpage; "Jorgen's heavy metal page" with flaming rotating skulls and other high end stuff. :)

I don't understand why he has his hourly price listed as $15 per hour. Am I missing something?

I wonder if those websites were really built by him - they are pretty good!

I might turn my portfolio into a site like his, its the way, I have seen the future!

Yes, it's pretty low. A top quality designer/developer/UI architect/expert like him would be expected to ask $17 per hour, maybe even $18

Well...

Thanks Chris, next time I post in the critique forum I'm going to use this guy's website to negate everyone's design criticisms. :P

That's the funniest site I've seen in a long time, loving his style.

I think they are sites he's done yeah. I also think the $15/hr thing was tongue in cheek, poking fun at the developers undercutting everyone else and pushing prices down, cos that does sound awfully cheap.

You know, having a portfolio site as clearly badly designed as this could really be a winner. Because it's done in a way that (at least to us web developers) comes across as comical you can tell that the guy knows his stuff, and clicking on the links shows that.

You may not get as many clients on first impression, but the projects you do get will more than likely be the fun cool projects founded by guys with a laid back sense of humour :)
