Anybody else registered on Apple's iPhone Developer Program?

I spent my $99 USD last night to register as an iPhone developer. Sort of my kick in the butt to actually write something for the iPhone and put it on the App Store. As a bonus, I get to be one of the early birds using iPhone OS 3.0.

But that was like 13 hours ago, and they still have not emailed my activation code. Apparently I have to wait up to 24 hours. But I'm impatient!

Anybody else paid onto this program and if so, how long did it take to get your activation email?

I haven't - but I've been thinking about it just to get the OS3.0 update onto my phone ;) I have the standard SDK, but that took about a day just to get their download link working, so I would allow a little extra time for them to send the activation too

Yeah I think they're under high demand. They say to allow 24 hours. 36 hours have passed now. Tried calling them (it's currently Sunday in Australia). Apparently they're only open Mon-Fri, 9-5.

In the meantime, I'm just watching all the videos etc from ADC. I have shingles at the moment so I'm off work until 6th April... plenty of time for taking on board some new material.

I'd love to write a game (I have some sketchy mass-player ideas that utilize the GPS), but I can't do graphics for crap.

Looking forward to playing with iPhone OS 3.0 too yeah... as long as "beta" is actually quite stable.

I think it should be stable enough - they were brave enough to test it during the preview
