Load test :: Need to test new equipment against a website...

Post by jaoudestudios »

Anyone confident enough to have their website load tested to 500 users? (for free, I just need a url and your permission)

At work we need to do some test runs on our new load testing servers before we release. I will give you screen shots of the results, so you know which objects failed etc...

Please respond ASAP.

NB: we take no responsibility if your server can not handle the load and crashes :)

Thanks for your PMs.

We now have found a website to test against.

Plan to start from 0 users and crank up to 500 users in total for the duration of 5 mins (nb: our max limit is 200,000 users), I am loading my website too, I will post results if anyone is curious?

More of you have contacted me. Thanks for your support.

Unfortunately, we have finished free testing for the moment.

But keep sending me your urls, because I am sure we will do some more tests in the near future.

I might even open a webpage for it somewhere, so you can specify your url, max amount of users (ideally not less than 500), preferred time (ideally between 9-5 GMT) etc..

Alternatively, people might want to consider using a tool like Apache Benchmark:
