Google Map Javascript/PHP Questions

Post by fpm »

Having some issues with google maps

I have adjusted the size of the Google Map Code using "style="width: 90%; height: 300px"" but this does not solve my issue.

When I use the API, a horizontal scroll bar appears on my browser, as if an object is too large. How can I adjust this so the horizontal scroll bar does not appear?

Also, when I put my php footer at the bottom of my page it appears over the top of this API. How do I get my footer beneath the Google Maps?

Code: Select all

  <table>
<tr align="center"><td>
    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"/>
    <script src="http://maps.google.com/maps?file=api&v=2&key=mykey;sensor=false"
            type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">

    function initialize() {
      if (GBrowserIsCompatible()) {
        var map = new GMap2(document.getElementById("map_canvas"));
        map.setCenter(new GLatLng(<?php echo $row['latitude_deg']; ?>,<?php echo $row['longitude_deg']; ?>), 13);
        map.setUIToDefault();
      }
    }
    </script>
  </td>
  </tr>
  <body onload="initialize()" onunload="GUnload()">
    <div id="map_canvas" style="width: 90%; height: 300px"></div>
  </body>
  </table>
