We know you have an opinion on how things should be run around here. These are suggestions for the forums, and the website. This forum is not a place to ask for suggestions to your own coding (or otherwise) problems.
Just to let you know: on my setup (Win2000, 1024x768, Mozilla 1.5), the Delete button is barely showing on posts in the forums. I can just see the "X" of the button graphic, the rest is off the screen, and there is no horizontal scroll bar to see if anything else comes after that.
That's pretty strange, I'm using Moz Firebird 0.7 (on the same OS and screen res) and haven't had a prob. I'll install Moz proper on my PC at home though to give the site a test.
Have you had any probs with other PHPBB sites, cause we've got a pretty vanilla template running things?
Yeah, somehow for me too. Although it's not "that" bad. I still can see 1/2 of the delete button O_o. I'm on Mozilla 1.5 (the whole thing) not only firebird. Happens both on XP and RedHat.
strange, mozilla 1.5 here and I can see complete delete-buttons for every post
A friend of mine used a sidebar that lists all anchors and links in a page and highlights them if you wish. It had a similar effect on some elements. Any plugins on your side?
Just checked another site where I had a post (the maguma support forums), and it's displaying ok there, though they are using a different template I think.
I don't have any sidebars showing or special plug-ins, and the browser is maximised. I'm using the "Modern" theme, if that makes a difference.
I'm on Firebird (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007 Firebird/0.7) on Win2k at 1024x768 and the "QUOTE" button is clipped after the last letter. I don't see the "X" delete button at all.
EDIT: Actually, since you only see the "X" on your own posts, the "X" does get clipped partially. It appears that the furthest right image gets a little clipped.
