FAQ Forum

Post by EricS »

How about an FAQ Forum where you could store the questions that asked over and over. Personally, I try and look at previous posts to see if my question has already been asked, but when you have to look at 40 or 50 pages of questions it gets a little daunting and I usually stop after about 10 pages.

Unfortunately this will not help with people who don't care about looking up their problems to begin with and just post away.

Just a thought, what does everyone else think?

I think the sticky posts in the php forum cover the majority of the repetitve problems, but we still get register_globals questions. Is it not clear that the sticky posts should be read before posting, i wonder?
