Maybe not that, but something like a business forum, maybe?

I agree with andre_c, that perhaps some kind of business forum needs to be put in? Not as specific as "selling your software", but general business/marketing related...

Yea, not toward just advertising your software, but something that could be open to how one would sell their software, with what means, payment processing, etc.

I say no.

A forum like this would cause problems/conflicts I think.

So-n-so sold me a script taht trash my server, and it was approved by someone on phpdn forums. Phpdn should be held responsible, yada yada.

even tho the "theory" of such a forum is good, theres always those, for lack of a better adjective, retards that will screw it up.

How exactly would that happen? Who cares if some retard tries to blame phpdn for purchasing a script here?

and anyways, I got the feeling this would be a mix between "hey, heres a site to sell your scripts"/"hey, here's my script, buy it!!"/"hey, how would you suggest I go about selling this? how much? etc"

I would care if I was the owner of the forum and I was getting such lame feedback and its possible to build a rep for such.

All for what?

Punk, always one to disagree with me

There should be an announcement that denotes that the person selling the software takes full responsibility over their programs and that any 'mishaps' should be blamed to the programmer/owner of the program.

All so we can sell our scripts, get help on how to market them, etc. All things that are important in this field.

I'm for business forum, not for 'selling your software'.

Yes, I believe that's what most of us were for, but feyd was too lazy to think of a good word (bussiness is a toughie) so he just called it what someone else did in the original topic.

I called it that, because that's what he asked for. Obviously he doesn't care enough to come back and respond.. or state why he'd like to see it. :?
