[DONE] Add a "business" forum?

Post by feyd »

So, how about a "business" forum, where we could talk about the business side of our digital lives in this field?

I'm all for, just as long as it's programming business, and kept clean.

ok.. the poll is closed.. the winner is yay.

So, since I'm horrible at coming up with good descriptions, anyone care to scribble a few words? :)

"show me the programming money"; 8)
"The backend of programming";

I would almost be offended but we Canadians use the north american keyboard layout. It just makes sense to put the " above the ' as it is easy to type then stretching your poor finger all the way up to the 2 key.
I have solved the problem by using the 'cry' US layout on windows.
Try it for a little way you will see that it makes perfect sense.
It is like classes grouping like functions together.

What would I give to try out your keyboard - alas, would it be worth the £499 for a trip to North America? I wonder...

We'll need some posting guidelines to flesh out the board title. I think I might have missed some of the discussion but is this the sort of thing you had in mind?

- legal: licencing issues, contracts
- the "client interface"
- managing a project
- freelancing
- rates of pay

I finally got around to creating this forum today. My apologies for the delay to all involved and all interested.

It can be found here.

I consider this suggestion solved. :)
