I was just thinking that if there was a forum for php newbies to ask the rather simple questions it would keep the php forum from become overloaded as it will be a very popular forum.

Or perhaps a whole section on the forums for "PHP" (as it is a PHP network) then under that have Newbie, and other topics on PHP, like security and stuff.

That would suit me - I'm new with a capital 'oooh!' and would feel a bit dim posting my "how do i turn it on" questions alongside your "php is making me a cup of tea, how do i specify earl grey, no sugar?" ones

"php is making me a cup of tea, how do i specify earl grey, no sugar?"
If someone can show me how to do this with the
HTCPCP (Hyper Text Coffee Pot Control Protocl), I will be happy.
