As McGruff has stated, he welcomes peoples opinions. My opinion is the banned users (only the ones banned for the issue currently at hand) should be unbanned. What do you think?

This point has been violated by ignoring other people's opinions; incidentally, it was the majority (of the moderators) that was ignored, which deserves condemnation even more so.1. [...] So whenever you respond, or whenever you get an answer, keep this in mind: others can also be right. Hopefully, by having this in mind when you use these boards, you will benefit in learning things an otherwise clouded mind might miss.
The administrator in question has declined when asked to step down, and subsequently removed most other moderators. This is, I presume, not the way the aforementioned administrator would like to have been treated.2. Treat others as you would want to be treated. [...] Being polite matters. Really. We would rather stand behind someone who is polite, but wrong, than stand behind someone who is rude, but right.
Again, violated as per the immediate and ruthless reaction of said administrator to the disagreement from other moderators, as well as their (polite) request for said administrator to resign. This kind of behavior is not diplomatic in the least, and exemplifies poor communication abilities and stubbornness.3. Helping others helps you. Spending a little time working with someone else will go a long way to helping yourself. If someone asks you a question, it's for a reason. Working with this person will usually mean you get your problems solved quicker. [...] This community is based on helping others, and if you can help just one other person, you will have contributed back.
As I have said before things had reached a stage where it was no longer possible to work together. I didn't push it to that point; as far as I was concerned we were still a team - a team with difficulties but still a team. The situation had to be resolved one way or the other. It's not nice but it happens.foobar wrote:It shows a clear lack of will to discuss and settle the issue peacefully, and demonstrates an unhealthy craving for power.
Obviously. And so you should have left like everyone saw fit.McGruff wrote:As I have said before things had reached a stage where it was no longer possible to work together.
