I disagree, I would much rather have it the same color as the functions used to be (blue) and if you need it to be obvious that it is a link have an underline on it. Regardless its not like its some main navigation element so it is not imperative I see that it is a link, heck I didn't even know it was a link as it is until I rolled over it

It actually makes reading blocks of code annoying, like those websites that have the annoying ad-ware stuff that has keywords linking to etailers for that related product, or as a tooltip on every 5th word.

Jenk hit the nail right on the head (those things are called clicksor, the context sensitive text ads), I vote for reverting them back to the same look as pre-php code block disaster. Keep the link feature I think it's nice, it only takes someone a few seconds to realize they are links, especially if they are underlined.
