Correct, the function links are handled by Geshi. Only automatically parsed links such as http://php.net and bbcode parsed links through [url] will be processed to have the new tab/window arrow added. Beyond the padding to the right side of the link, they do not affect the line height and are not included in a selection, so I don't see the problem with them. I do like the new addition by the way. It clearly marks links and it looks well. I was worried it was appending the image to every function in the PHP syntax but if that's not the case...
