Forum problem (only a tiny one)

According to the memberlist, everyone joined on 31 Dec 1969...

I wasn't even alive then - in fact my mother was only 15! ;)

We had a recent problem with the database and lost some data. Annoying, but I think we're stuck with that.

I ran into a problem like that a few months back. I was managing a website with ~14k users and I accidently changed the type of column in the table, so all of the users had a birth year of '255'.

Luckily I had a page loaded (from earlier testing) that had every single birth year that was previously in the database. An hour later, back to normal. *whipes sweat off of forehead*

also im not sure if its still the case, but the posting average was wrong when i last checked.

Before the database went down i had an average of around 7 posts per day, now i have something like 0.0003

obviously this goes hand in hand, and is caused by, the inaccurate joining date
